We guarantee that eligible documents will be prepared and processed for apostille on the next working day, providing a fast and efficient turnaround.

Please note that if you submit your documents at any of our other offices, one additional working day will be added to the processing time. This allows for postage or courier transfer to our Milton Keynes office.

If your documents require solicitor certification, a further working day will also be added to the overall processing time.

To help us process your documents quickly and accurately, please include a printed copy of your order confirmation with your documents.

Alternatively, you can clearly write your order number on the envelope, for example: FTA-1234.

What happens after we receive your documents

  1. Once your documents arrive safely at our office, you will receive an email confirmation.
  2. Our experienced team will carefully review your documents to ensure they meet the legalisation requirements of the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).
  3. If anything is missing or incorrect, we will contact you promptly so the issue can be resolved without delay.
  4. Once your documents have been approved, we will submit them to the FCDO for apostille certification using our fast-track 24-hour service.

Fast and reliable document return

  1. At Fast Track Apostille, we ensure your documents are legalised promptly and returned securely.
  2. Once your documents have been apostilled, we collect them from the FCDO and dispatch them to the shipping address provided.
  3. You will receive an email confirmation with a tracking number as soon as your documents have been sent.
  4. You can usually expect to receive your apostilled documents within 1–2 working days, ready for international use.

What are medical test results?
Medical test results are documents showing the outcome of medical tests or laboratory analysis. They may be issued by a medical provider or external laboratory and must be signed or confirmed by a registered medical practitioner for legalisation purposes.

Can they be legalised?
Yes. Medical test results issued in the UK can be legalised.

Accepted formats for legalisation:
The FCDO accepts medical test results in the following formats:

  • the original medical test results signed by the named and regulated medical practitioner;
  • a photocopy or printout of the medical test results.

The medical practitioner must be registered with the relevant regulatory authority.

If the results were issued by an external laboratory, the medical practitioner signing them must confirm the name of the patient the results belong to.

Do they require solicitor or notary certification?
No. However, if submitting an original, it should include a wet ink signature, or a wet ink or embossed seal, together with a date from the issuing authority.

Do the original documents need to be submitted?
No. A photocopy or printout may be accepted.

Important notes:
The medical practitioner must be registered with the relevant regulatory authority. The document should include a wet ink signature and date where applicable. If the results are from an external laboratory, the patient’s name must be confirmed by the practitioner.

Common uses:
Medical test results are commonly used for visa applications, medical clearance, immigration, travel requirements and overseas administrative purposes.

Is embassy attestation required?
Yes, embassy attestation may be required for countries that are not part of the Hague Apostille Convention, such as the UAE or Qatar.
